PELCO^®Tissue Tampers are an accessory tool used to aid in the orientation and flatness of tissue for histological paraffin embedding. The base is brass for weight and stability. The handles are 2-3/4" long with a polyurethane coating for cool to the touch handling. Tampers should be placed on the heated work surface of the embedding center to be ready for use. If purchased as a 5-piece set, the base may be placed on the heated work surface of the embedding center.

PELCO^® Tissue Tampers #22705-6 and #22705-7 are new sizes for use with Super Mega Tissue Embedding Molds.
