Ralph knifemakers have been designed to be easy to use, giving consistent and reproducible results. The cutter height, cutter pressure and rake angle can all be adjusted.

The basic knifemaker is available in two sizes for 25 and 38mm knives and can accommodate glass up to 6mm thick. This ruggedly designed, reliable glass knife maker is easy to use producing Ralph glass knives from histology grade of microtomy glass or other 6mm thick quality glass strips. 

The precision model moves the glass up to the scoring and breaking position to compensate for thickness changes in the glass. This easy to use, reliable knife maker produces 25.5mm (1") or 38mm (1-5/16") wide Ralph glass knives when used with histology grade microtomy glass or any other 5.8mm to 6.2mm thick quality glass strips. This glass knife maker will automatically compensate for changes in thickness of the glass strips (typically 5.8mm to 6.2mm).

Replacement cutter wheels are also available.
